We’ve received a lot of questions in the past few weeks about Medicine Wall and an opening date. We are still currently waiting for access. The City of San Antonio denied a recent request we made asking if we could access the trail early. We are honoring that decision.

We know everyone is wanting to get access right away, but it is imperative that we build a positive relationship with the city and honor their wishes while they finish construction of the trail. Please remember, this is our only access.

According to the city of San Antonio, we are still looking at middle of 2020 as an opening date. While we do need continued funding for this project, this isn’t the main hindrance to getting the wall bolted and people climbing. We want you all on the wall as much as you want to be there—please continue to be patient and respectful while we take small steps closer to the finish line.
